"This is a luscious merlot, and i really enjoyed it, even though I'm not a big merlot fan. It was fruity yet dry, deep and complex -- almost like a mourvedre (which is one of my favorites). I bought it in Bucharest for 45 lei (about $15), at the recommendation of the shop keeper in what must be the only high-end wine shop in town; he recommended it over a wine at twice the price, so expected it to be very good, and it was!!"
